Power Grid™ from leading textile innovators Polartec® bears a geometric pattern featuring a patented grid construction knit that enhances moisture wicking whilst retaining insulation, all at a minimal fabric mass. Hailed as a “minimalist design that maximises fabric performance”. Power Grid maximises the breathability of a garment without compromising on insulation, removing one of the major issues experienced with less advanced synthetic fibres.
In terms of features, the full zip design of the Siege Tech Fleece allows you to zip up for maximum heat retention and adjust as necessary to effectively dump heat during periods of activity. An elasticated hood can be drawn to provide additional protection from the elements. Elasticated cuffs keep the sleeves taught to the arms, minimising heat loss and improving wearability when layered under a hard shell or insulated jacket. A chest pocket provides space for storage of sensitive expedition essentials proximate to the body’s core plus two hand pockets add additional storage capacity where necessary.
